GEF Honored with Achyut Godbole Foundation's Sevavrutti Award for Excellence in Social Work

Guruji Education Foudation (GEF) is proud to be one of the two recepients of the Achyut Godbole Foundation’s first-ever Sevavrutti Award for excellence in social work. The awards were presented by Shri Ajit Shah, former-Chief Justice, Delhi High Court, at a function held at Pune on 17th August 2026. Dr. Lalita Deshpande (Vice-Chairperson), Mrs. Jyoti Sulakhe (Centre Head – Pune), and Shri Avinash Surve (Co-founder) received the award on behalf of GEF.

The recently instituted Achyut Godbole Foundation awards recognize commendable work by individuals, institutions, and industries in various fields. This year’s award winners include renowned classical singer veteran stage artist Shri Atul Pethe (Krutadnyta Gaurav Award), Smt. Shruti Vishwakarma-Marathe (Leelashree Award), Solar Basket Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (Udyamsheelta Award), and Jivhala Apangmati Vikas Sanstha, Nashik & GEF, who received the Sevavrutti Award for their work in the social sector.
